OWF OVERDRIVE
November 23, 2010
We open with our theme - ‘My Generation’ by Patti Smith and a new updated video package with Todd and Daniel giving Steve a spike brainbuster, Drew Rosen giving Joe Commend Thy Spirit from last week, Mars Nova hitting the Nova Flash on Joe AiR, Steve Marshall giving his first round opponent the Rageki and Joe STOing Adam Montan cutting straight into the OWF Overdrive logo! Flashy!
First out is Drew Rosen - he wants us all to know that this Sunday, live in Vegas at OWF #1 he’s going to take Pancho and Lefty and pound whoever he has to into mush and take home the OWF World Heavyweight title!
BriOmega interrupts and Drew is a bit miffed. Brio just wants to thank Drew for his assistance last week and mentions that, you know, he has a match tonight and y’know, they had that deal that they’d help each other out and all?
Drew lets him know that he fulfilled his part of the deal last week and Brio shouldn’t really expect anything more from him. Brio tells him he’ll make it worth his while and Drew bristles at the idea - he doesn’t need any help.
OWF President Ryan Tardiff is next out he announces that he’s glad that Drew feels that way because he’s officially banned from ringside in the 5 way main event tonight. He also announces that he has spoken to Mars Nova and offered him the assistance tonight of a new OWF superstar who will debut as his partner tonight.
But for now - it’s time to get our first match on: It’s Drew vs. Jason California and it’s next!
Jason California has a crazy elaborate entrance, complete with many big assed women folk lining the ring. It’s a spectacle and Drew is not entertained. The crowd seems to like it though!
Drew Rosen vs. Jason California
Fun Fact: This the first one on one match in OWF Overdrive history with no title implications!
Drew circles Jason and shoots on him, grabbing a waistlock and taking him down, he gets his back and starts in with elbows to the back of his head. Jason scrambles for the ropes… Drew charges in and hits a face wash into the bottom rope which sends Jason to the outside.
Drew follows and hits a snap suplex on the outside. He rolls in and breaks the count and rolls back out. He picks Jason up and drives him into the post and then whips him into the baricade… he then hits an avalanche into the baricade! Commend Thy Spirit on the outside! Drew smiles at the carnage and rolls Jason back into the ring.
Drew makes a cocky cover. 1…2…he pulls him up at 2! He starts slapping him around. He taunts the crowd! He puts him in a front face lock… and turns it into an arm bar… and turns it into an oma plata… and floats over and does a kneebar… he’s just playing around! I think he’s trying to send a message to Joe! But when he gets the kneebar Jason rolls forward into a victory roll! 1…2…KICKOUT! Drew is livid!
Jason rolls to the outside, still pretty banged up. Drew follows him and Jason rolls back in. When Drew follows back in Jason starts in with kicks! Bukkake Overdrive?! Yes! He is hitting him with rapidfire kicks all over the body! Drew ducks one and gets his foot - enzuguri? Ducked. Drew puts him in a twisted STF! I think he’s mocking Steve’s Steve Special #3 now… Jason scrambles to the ropes. Drew is not amused.
Drew pulls him away from the ropes and hoists him up - Omega Driver! That’s Brio’s finish! Drew is just throwing it all out there! He covers again - 1…2… he picks him up at 2 again! He picks him up. Jumping piledriver! That has to be directed at Todd! He covers again. 1…2…3. He really brutalized poor Jason here and sent a message!
As he’s walking down the aisle he’s acosted by the post-match interviewer and as he starts to ask a question Drew asks him to excuse him a second… and starts down the aisle back in the ring. The ref is helping Jason up and Drew offers a hand… and whips him into the ropes - Pounce! That one was for Mars Nova! He smirks and we go to commercial! Up Next: Todd and Daniel vs. Mars and a mystery debut!
Todd and Daniel are out first. Daniel says he was robbed last week and if he got a rematch at Mars he’d win 99 times out of a 100. He got lucky, but he won’t be so lucky Sunday when Todd destroys him… or tonight when he and whatever rookie Mars has up his sleeve are humbled at their feet.
Todd takes the mic - he fully intends to leave Sunday as a double champion. And for the record - he isn’t scared one bit of Drew - if it comes down to him and Drew? It’s no contest - he was born better. Because he’s the Todd… dammit.
Mars then interrupts and says that he shouldn’t be concerning himself with the main event Sunday - he won’t be getting through him and while he’s at it - he shouldn’t be counting his chickens on being a single champion after tonight - he’s got a kid in the back that he thinks has big potential and they are going to take those titles… right about now!
Mars starts on his way to the ring when… KEDD debuts! He nods at Mars and they run together to the ring and Todd and Daniel scramble out of the ring.
We take a quick commercial break!
The Todd and Daniel K. vs. Mars Nova and Kedd for the OWF World Tag Team Titles
Big fight intros for this title match!
Big cheers for our challengers! Uproarious boos for the champs! We’re off! Todd and Mars look like they are going to start… but Kedd insists on starting. Mars tells him to go right ahead.
Kedd charges in at Todd… and gets arm dragged. He dusts himself off and tries again… Todd hits an overhead belly to belly! Kedd tags out to Mars. Maybe his faith in the rookie was misplaced?
As soon as Mars enters Todd gets in his face and bad mouths him… and then backs off and tags in Daniel. Mars stares a hole through Todd and turns around into kicks from Daniel. Daniel goes for a big kick once he has Mars on his knees and Mars ducks it. Military Press! He tosses Daniel into Todd and they both go cascading to the outside! Big pop for that!
Out of nowhere the lights go a bit wonky and the crowd buzzes - is it the mystery man? Nope! The Video Screen starts with a big light show and then flashes quickly the words ‘The Future of Tag Team Wrestling is… Then’ then a too quick to see flash of something else and the lights come back. Mars and Kedd look a little befuddled but quickly we move on. The announcers are buzzing about what that might mean. But back to the action!
Kedd wants a tag! Mars grants it. Kedd goes to the top and dives on to the both of them! He takes them both out! Once they all recover he tosses Daniel back in the ring. Daniel is begging off and Kedd gives him a moment of relief… before Daniel hits a low blow! He whips Kedd into his corner and starts to put to boots to him in the corner. He tags out to a pissed off Todd. Todd makes a big show of doing a face wash into the corner, his own little… reference to Drew. He then picks Kedd up… He’s going to give him a piledriver! He backdrops out and gets a hot tag to Mars!
Mars runs wild! He hits shoulder blocks on both the heels. He whips Todd off the ropes - he’s going for the Nova Pounce! But Todd stops short and slips out of the ring. He gives a motion that says ‘to hell with this’ and grabs Daniel and they walk off for a count out loss!
Post-match Mars is interviewed and says he’s gonna win the title Sunday… but Kedd cuts him off and says the real story is that in his debut match he just beat the tag champs! Mars nods and tells him he did good. He shakes his head, as if to say ‘oh you’ and they walk off together.
Next! Five Man Madness for the final spot in the semi-finals of the OWF Heavyweight Title Tournament!
OWF President Ryan Tardiff comes out to watch this match and sit in on commentary! He tells us upfront that we should stay tuned after the conclusion of this match - we’ll have a final comment from each of the four men in the semi-finals of Sunday’s tournament and we’ll have the announcement of the full card!
Out first is Steve Marshall to a big pop. He’s still got the mystery man’s mask. He rolls in the ring and makes the title motion to Ryan and puts the mask on the turnbuckle.
Next it’s Moon Spider to a nice reaction! Ryan plugs him as a dark horse tonight!
Then it’s BriOmega’s turn. BOO!
Adam Montan gets a mixed reaction - Ryan says it’ll be hard to take out the big man and notes that he seems to have been trying to turn over a new leaf.
Finally it’s Joesph Woodbury to a big pop as well…
Ryan explains us the rules: It’s elimination style, every man for himself, all 5 men competing - no tags.
And with that we get the introductions and we’re off
Five Man Frenzy, OWF World Heavyweight Title Qualifier:
Joesph Woodbury vs. BriOmega vs. Adam Montan vs. MoonSpider vs. Steve Marshall
Brio rolls to the outside and tries to stay out of the way. Montan and MoonSpider pair off, with Spider trying his best to get the big man off his feet. It’s not quite working in the opening moments.
Meanwhile we get Joe vs. Steve and they shake hands. They trade forearms back and forth.
Montan whips Moon Spider into the corner - Avalanche! A message to Drew? Maybe so. He puts Spider on the top and starts to climb - is he going for the top rope F5 we keep hearing about?!
Steve gets the upperhand on Joe for a moment with a backdrop and then when Adam sets up for the F5 he runs, jumps to the top and delivers a top rope flatliner on the big man, sending all three cascading to the ground! Whoa! Joe goes up top and delivers big elbow onto Adam! 1…2…3! Brio pops back in and steals a pin on Moon-Spider! 1…2…3! It’s down to three!
Adam throws a bit of a fit at ringside. He’s pretty frustrated as he walks to the back and we cut to break.
Joe and Steve are going at it, with Brio having slid outside again, apparently, when we come back.
They’re trading kicks and Joe gets the better of it. He goes for an execution kick and Steve ducks and goes quick for the Rageki! Joe slides out into a dragon sleeper! Steve struggles and ultimately kicks up and out of it but once he’s off Joe jumps right into a standing rear naked choke… Steve backs himself into the corner to break it and slides into a drop toe hold, he goes for the Steve Special #3 Grapevine STF but Joe gets quickly to the ropes. Steve backs off and gives Joe a hand for avoiding it.
They go back to grappling and Joe gets the better of it, waistlock takeover into a front facelock - Steve rangles out and gets the arm, Joe rolls out of the pressure but Steve turns it into a key lock and Joe back bridges when Steve tries to take him down and comes back up and reverses into a keylock of his own. He sweeps the leg of Steve and has him down. He straightens the arm out of the key lock and turns it into an arm bar, Steve rolls out of the pressure and goes behind - he goes for a German, it’s blocked - Joe reverses behind and goes for his own and tries a German but Steve lands on his feet, Joe turns around into a high kick!
Steve goes up top - Frog Splash! 1…2…Kickout! He goes up for another and Joe moves. Joe clamps on another rear naked choke. Steve is in trouble! He struggles and is about to get to the ropes when Joe floats over and turns it into a guilotine choke and cuts off his route to the ropes and walks him back to the center. Steve is just about out when the fans get behind him, he rallies and gets to his feet - release northern lights suplex breaks the hold! Both men are down!
Brio takes this oppurtunity to re-enter the fray. He hits a brainbuster on Steve! 1…2…kickout! He goes to the top for a diving headbutt but gets cut off by Joe - Superplex! Steve rolls over into a pin on Brio - 1…2.. kickout! And he rolls onto a pin on Joe, drapes the arm - 1…2.. Joe turns it into a gogaplata! Steve is some real trouble! He’s struggling! He’s in the middle of the ring! Brio is struggling to get up on the apron. The crowd is buzzing… Brio goes to the top - Diving Headbutt on Joe - breaking the move! Cover on Joe! 1..2..KICKOUT! Brio picks up Steve for an Omega Driver but Steve flips out of it - goes for the high kick on Brio, who ducks - Russian Legsweep on Steve! 1…2.. kickout!
Brio sits up frustrated and gets nailed with a kick to the back of the head by Joe. Steve is up to and the babyfaces are going to team up on Brio! LIGHTS OUT! When they come back Steve is out on a silver platter for Brio and Joe is laid out in the corner! Brio covers Steve - 1…2…3! It’s down to two and we’re going to take another commercial break!
When we come back Brio is working on Joe’s shoulder, he has him in an arm wringer and is hitting him with elbows to the shoulder. After a series of these he hits an arm breaker, then turns it into an arm bar. Fans are rallying behind Joe! He gets to the ropes! Brio doesn’t break - 1…2…3…4… he breaks and throws his hands up. Then he starts stomping on the shoulder. He picks Joe up - it looks like he’s going finish him off with an Omega Driver… when he picks him up though Joe goes behind, release German suplex! They’re both down!
1…2….3….4…5… both guys start to stir, they trade punches and Joe gets the better of it - he whips Brio off the ropes - he hits a wraparound clothesline and goes for a cover - 1…2… kickout. Joe starts in with elbow strikes to Brio and Brio scrambles for the ropes and slides outside.
The ref starts the count and Joe waits for him to come back in. Brio, at 5 decided to come back in and charges Joe - arm drag. He’s frustrated - he charges again - another arm drag. He rolls outside again and this time Joe follows him out - Brio low blows him out of nowhere and tosses him into the steps, his bad arm first. He tosses him back in the ring - cover: 1…2… kickout.
Joe is slumped in the corner and Brio hits a face wash on him - another nod to Drew! He picks him up and whips him into the corner - he misses and avalanche - he turns into an STO - Arm Triangle - Reservation Strangulation! Too close to the ropes though - Brio gets them quick. When he’s trying to get himself up Joe charges into the corner - big forearm! T-Bone Suplex? Brio elbows out of it and takes Joe’s bad arm and yanks on it - he then hoists him up - OMEGA DRIVER! 1…2…KICKOUT!! Brio is beside himself and picks him up for another, Joe turns it into am uma platta! We’re in the middle of the ring! Brio is struggling! HE TAPS! Joe has made it to the semi-finals and gets another shot at Drew - it’s a rematch at the Pay Per View at the semi-finals.
The announcers hype, as Joe celebrates and Brio broods that we still have the face off between the four top contenders to go - stay tuned, it’s coming up next!
Ryan says he has some matches to announce! Steve Marshall interupts and says he wants the masked man at the Pay Per View! The lights go out again! When they come back on the announcers are laid out on the desk at ringside and on them is a sign that says ‘I accept’. Ryan says he guesses he’ll make it official - it’s Steve Marshall versus our mystery man Sunday! Marshall says he doesn’t know why he got involved in his business but he’s going to take him out and then once he does he’s going to be back in the title mix. Steve leaves in a huff.
In addition to that he has some more matches - Adam Montan will take on MoonSpider! And a triangle match with the winner getting the first shot at the OWF World Heavyweight title next Tuesday - it’s Daniel K. vs. BriOmega vs. Benel Germosen!
And now it’s time for a final word from out semi-finalists:
The Todd and Daniel start us off. Todd says that he’s going to the Pay Per View and he’s going to destroy Mars Nova. He just left him be tonight because he didn’t want any excuses Sunday. Daniel says yeah, they could have totally beat them but a rag tag first time tag team? Why even bother? They didn’t deserve a title shot. You know who does? He does. Next week. And he fully expects it to be him vs. The Todd next week and Todd says he’d like nothing better.
Mars Nova interrupts. He says we saw how weak willed Todd and Daniel were tonight and he intends to beat Todd Sunday and move on to face either Drew or Joe in the finals. He says Drew and Todd are in need of smitting but Joe? Joe would be a quality match. But at the end of the day, as bright as Joe might shine? Mars will shine that much more, in the reflection of his OWF Heavyweight Title.
Drew is out next. He’s hurt by Mars’ comments. Smite him? Comparing him to Todd? No, no, no. He’s not an evil man. It doesn’t matter what Mars thinks, what Todd thinks or what any of these losers in the crowd thinks - he isn’t an evil man. He’s just damned good at what he does and no one is going to stand in his way of becoming the first ever OWF champ.
Finally Ryan asks Joe what he thinks - what are his final comments?! Joe says that he’s one to let his actions speak louder than words… and he drops Drew with a high kick! It turns into a brawl! Ryan gets the heck out of dodge! Todd, Daniel and Drew form an uneasy alliance beating down Joe and Mars! The faces put up a fight but Joe is rough shape after his match and Drew catches a kick and turns it into an STO! Daniel and Todd look at Drew and set Joe up for a spike piledriver.
Steve returns to save! LIGHTS OUT! Steve is out now too! It’s still 3 on 2! Todd puts Joe down and tells Daniel to get some tables - he does. He sets up two!
Drew and Todd stare at one another and hoist Mars and Joe up respectively - stereo piledrivers off the apron through the tables! Holy Shit!
Todd and Drew slowly get to their feet - staring each other down… face to face… but Daniel comes from behind Drew! It’s 2 on 1! Brio makes the save with a chair and sends Todd and Daniel running. Benel comes down out of nowhere and we get a big brawl. Daniel wants to get involved but Todd holds him back and he thinks twice and they walk away - LIGHTS OUT!
The masked man appears in the ring and hits a T-Bone Suplex on Brio! Rageki on Benel! He stands triumphant, everyone down - Benel! Brio! Mars! Joe! Steve! The only ones who got away unharmed were Todd and Daniel. The masked man cackles as we go off the air!
We fade to black.

Joe ducks a forearm - STO! ARM TRIANGLE! Reservation Strangulation! Drew is struggling! The crowd is chanting for him to tap! Can he submit him twice?! NO! Drew grabs the ropes… he rolls to the apron… starts to struggle to his feet… Joe runs, springboards Y2J style but off the top - he flies into Drew with double knees like Evan Bourne, off the apron! They crash to the outside!
The ref starts to count them both out…
1…2…3…4… Joe starts to stir…5…6…7… Joe rolls in… and rolls back out to break the count! He wants to win this one proper! He gets Drew and tosses him back in. Drew pounces on him when he rolls back in himself with more elbow strikes in the mount… Joe turns it into another gogaplatta! Drew might tap! The crowd wants it. Drew powers out, into a powerbomb like position and SWINGS Joe into the turnbuckle headfirst, breaking the hold… he then whips Joe into the other corner- AVALANCHE… he whips him again… another AVALANCHE… and again… AVALANCHE - then a delayed dangerous T-Bone suplex destroys Joe.
1…2…and that’s 3. Drew advances! The crowd doesn’t like this one at all. Brio pops back out on the stage and signals that Drew owes him one. Drew nods. Joe rises to his feet after the match to a big ovation from the fans! We fade to break on that note…
How can we follow that? Maybe we can’t! But we’re gonna try with The Todd vs. Benel Germosen!
Benel is bandaged up pretty bad on his shoulder and right arm. He gets a nice babyface reaction and takes the mic and says that he’s glad to be back and he’s gonna fight like hell to be the next OWF Champion! And to get revenge on one of the men that put him out - The Todd! People might remember Brio turning on him and he’ll certainly be dealing with him soon but Todd and Daniel certain put in their licks too and now it’s time for revenge!
Todd comes out and laughs it off and says he’s going to be the next OWF Champion, after all, he’s The Todd… damn it.
OWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament Quarterfinal Match
The Todd vs. Benel Germosen
Benel goes to work quick hammering away on Todd with his good arm. Todd scrambles to the outside, Benel follows him… Todd tosses him bad arm first into the steps. He puts his arm on the steps and stomps on it a few times. He throws him back in the ring, arm breaker! Arm bar! The ref stops the match! Benel just wasn’t in any shape to fight back against this. A pity.
Todd gets on the mic post-match and brags that he had the quickest match of anyone in the tournament thus far. Drew interrupts and says that Todd doesn’t belong in the semi-finals but if they end up in the finals together? He’s gonna take him apart.
Steve Marshall interrupts! He says that Daniel, Todd and the mystery man better watch their back because he wants pay back for what happened to him last week and he wants to know who that damn mystery man is, even if he isn’t with Todd and Daniel. He also tells Drew that he’s not going to make the finals - whoever wins tonight’s Battle Royal main event? He’s taking them out and then Drew and then whoever he has to in the finals but secretly, in the back of his mind, he wouldn’t mkind for one moment if it was Todd.
We cut to break with a promo that up next Daniel faces Mars Nova in another Quarterfinals match-up!

Up next is the battle royal - it’s our main event!
The ring announcer tells us it’s time for the Battle Royal! BriOmega interrupts and says that there is no way that he should need to be involved in this - he should have a place in the next round in the tournament automatically - he isn’t getting his second chance here, it’s his only chance and that’s just not fair.
He’s going to sit in the middle of this ring, with this here steel chair until Ryan comes out and throws this all out and gives him is oppurtunity.
We take our last commercial break as Brio sits in the middle of the ring, in his steel chair and waits.

We take our last commercial break as Brio sits in the middle of the ring, in his steel chair and waits.
We’re back! Brio is still going on and on about how it’s not fair. Joe’s music hits! He walks intently to the ring, Brio grabs the chair and takes a swing and a miss. Joe kicks it into his face and tosses him over the top rope. Joe then takes the mic and says if anyone deserves a second chance in this tournament it’s him.
Second Chance Battle Royal for a Spot in the Quarterfinals of the OWF World Heavyweight Title Tourament
The rest of the participants enter - Moon-Spider, Buddy Friend, Human Target, Adam Montan, Jason California, Roger, Joe AiR and Scotland Green. Last minute addition? Dr. Blasphemy, who tells everyone he is very offended not have been included in the tournament.
We start with Joe, still certainly worse for wear, brawling with Buddy Friend as pretty much everyone else tries to take on Adam Montan and they keep bouncing off like needlessly one and at a time attacking ninjas. Eventually Human Target, Joe and Scotland decide to work together and we get a triple team on Montan, all of the attacking him at once… he hits a back body drop on all three at once, eliminating them all. Roger tries to clothesline him and knocks himself down in the process. Montan picks him up, Military Press style and flings him over the top.
Montan and Joe start brawling now, with Buddy Friend and Dr. Blasphemy teaming up to double team Moon-Spider. Dr. Blashemy double crosses Buddy Friend in short order and eliminates him. While he celebrates Moon-Spider eliminates him!
Final Three! Moon-Spider, Montan and Joe! Joe has Montan over near the ropes and is nailing him with forearms and kicks! He builds up a head of steam and does a diving forearm - Montan catches him but he starts with forearms with Montan leaning backward over the top… Montan tosses him off and over the top but Joe grabs, with one hand, the top and just barely hangs on for dear life. Meanwhile Moon-Spider dives into him with a crossbody as he’s rocked and they both go over the top… knocking Joe’s hand off the ropes! WHO WON?!
The ring announcer comes in the ring dumbfounded… but Drew comes out! Brio was eliminated before the bell! And despite his saying he didn’t want to compete he signed a contract to be in the match and then Brio rolls into the ring.- Drew announces him the winner!
Ryan comes out and relents that annoyingly enough that is all logical. BUT! He’s made a decision - Next week we’re going to sort this out - Montan vs. Moon-Spider vs. Joe vs. Brio… vs. Steve Marshall! Winner faces Drew at the Pay Per View!
And on that note - we are done!

OWF Overdrive, Episode 2: November 9, 2010
OWF OVERDRIVE
November 9th, 2010
Opening titles roll!
We start the show yet again with OWF President Ryan Tardiff who welcomes us the the second episode of OWF OVERDRIVE! He asks the crowd how they liked episode one and they seem to approve. He then says that he needs to address several matters from last week and the week that was.
First off he apologizes and explains that Benel Germosen isn’t here tonight. He wasn’t medically cleared to compete. He wishes him well and says he will be back as soon as he’s cleared.
He gets cut off by BriOmega with a shit eating grin. This means he gets a bye into the second round, right?
Wrong, in turns out - Ryan had made the ruling that due to his actions last week Bri has lost the match with Benel by forfeit. Brio is understanably upset but Ryan tells him that he will be entered into the Second Chance Battle Royal and if he’s worthy of the OWF title, he’ll find a way to win.
He then tells Bri to stick around, because the next bit of business concerns him and his apparent ally, Drew Rosen. The Todd has turned down Drew’s offer to become partners for the night and with Bri out of his match tonight, it seems only sensical to team Drew and Brio tonight.
Drew comes out and is a little miffed but says if he was going to team with anyone on the roster that BriOmega is a good choice. They’re watching each other’s back and tonight Brio can watch as he beats one of his next two opponents. Brio isn’t tremendously pleased to be wrestling twice and Ryan tells him he’s sure Benel wasn’t glad to wrestle two glorified handicap matches last week and that if he wants to be champ, he’s going have to do it - and by the way - if he gets himself counted out or disqualified or walks out on Drew? He’s out of the Battle Royal.
Drew tells Brio that it’ll be fine, just follow his lead. There is some friction there and Steve’s music hits and he and Joe enter the picture. Steve says he doesn’t care who he’s facing tonight, he wants a piece of Drew and to prove that he’s the man to beat in the tournament. Steve takes the mic and says after tonight and what he did last week that HE is the man to beat and he’s going to prove it. Steve and Joe share a glare and…
Todd and Daniel show up to note that all of them are arguing over a moot point and that the two front runners of the tournament are them and that they are a united front. Daniel agrees with Todd - they’re gonna win their first round matches and move on and up. Todd notes that it’s pathetic that Drew wanted to ride his coattails and that he’s not about to sign up for getting driven through a table again. Oh, but good luck with the match you guys! But him, he doesn’t need luck - cause he’s The Todd DAMMIT. And get out of his ring, he’s got a match.
Ryan gets in the last line noting that everyone involved is barred from ringside for the tournament matches and the tag match. Todd bristles a bit at this but heads down to the ring…
The Todd vs. Roger
First Round Match - OWF Heavyweight Title Tournament
Todd rolls his eyes at Roger’s antics hyping up the crowd. Roger offers a hand and Todd looks down at it dismisively… then takes it and clotheslines him out of his boots, pulls him back up into another clothesline and then hoists him up - rolling fireman carry slam. He goes over to the corner. Knee drop. Pin? 1…2…kickout.
Todd picks him up - vertical suplex. Another pin and… another 2. He goes for another suplex and SMALL PACKAGE! 1! 2! KICKOUT but Todd is pissed, forearms reign down, then knees whips him off the ropes and… wraparound sleeper slam by Roger. He goes for a pin and Todd tosses him off at 1. Todd is none to pleased. Why isn’t he able to make easy work out of him.
Roger hits a big boot to the face of Todd as he’s getting up and goes for another, Todd trips him up and gets him a kneebar. Roger gets to the ropes after a struggle and Todd pulls him to the middle of the ring and picks up his leg and slam it down on the mat. And again. And again. He sets up for the Indian Deathlock and Roger scurries to the ropes.
Todd pulls him back off the ropes and Roger mule kicks him and heads to the top. As Todd stirs he hits a crossbody off the top! Todd rolls through and grabs the tights! 1-2-3! Todd is relieved.
An interviewer pops up and asks if that was tougher than he thought it’d be and he blows him off. The interviewer persists and he says it went just as he planned, just like everything does BECAUSE HE’S THE TODD DAMMIT!!! And he walks off looking a bit shaken.
Up next, a graphic informs us - Mars Nova vs. Joe AiR!
In the back Brio and Drew are talking trash about Todd and how he had trouble with his match. He barely got the job done but they’ll do their job later tonight and THEN? Drew might just give Brio some moral support in the Battle Royal.
The announcers tell us that up next is the next tournament match, featuring Mars Nova vs. Joe AiR!
Mars Nova vs. Joe AiR
First Round Match - OWF Heavyweight Title Tournament
Mars goes for a handshake and Joe shakes it. They lock up and Mars gets the best of it, sending Joe to his back. Joe rushes into a powerslam. Mars pops off the ropes - NOVA FLASH pounce. That’s all he needs to get the 1-2-3.
The interviewer rushes over and wants a word with Nova - he says that he sure had an easier time than Todd and says that that should show everyone that he means business. He’s going to rocket through the field in this tournament in a Nova Flash and he and his fans will have the brightest day, just in time for his foes to see their blackest night.
Joe Woodbury is shown getting ready for tonight’s main event as we get the graphic - it’s Steve and Joe vs. Drew and Brio TONIGHT! And Daniel K. Gets his chance to shine NEXT!
Daniel K. vs. Jason California
First Round Match - OWF Heavyweight Title Tournament
Jason is in the ring when Daniel enters, and decides to say a few words first. His partner isn’t allowed to come out here himself but he’d like to remind everyone that he DID advance in the tournament and if you’d all stop being jealous for a moment you’d realize he made the next round just as much as anyone else did. More than Brio did, and more than Jason is going to right now.
Ring the bell!
Daniel rushes in… only to get hit with a kick to chest! And one to the leg! And one to the arm! And when he goes down to his knees he gets one to the head! And the arm! And the face! It’s the Bukkake Overdrive, nailing him all over the face with rapid fire kicks! He hits one final money shot and makes the pin! 1! 2! 3? NO NO HE KICKED OUT!
Jason hits another kick and Daniel responds with one of his own, and another! Jason goes for one, Daniel ducks, kick to the stomach - butterfly powerbomb - Texas Cloverleaf! Jason struggles! Will he tap? He’s moving closer to the ropes… he’s got them! Daniel won’t break the hold! 1! 2! 3! 4! Daniel relents and breaks it. He pulls Jason out of the ropes… SMALL PACKAGE! 1…2…KICKOUT!
Daniel is none too pleased. If anything this is going worse than Todd’s match! He starts putting the boots to Jason and picks him up - he gets one arm underhooked for the european suplex but Jason breaks free - Downward spiral! 1…2… Daniel kicks out. Jason goes to the top - missle dropkick! Daniel manages to roll to the outside. Jason gives chase! Daniel grabs his tights and sends him face first into the steps. Daniel hits a back suplex on the floor! He tosses Jason back in - 1…2… Kickout!
Daniel picks him up - T-bone suplex! 1…2… kickout! He goes to the corner - high knee! He bounces off the ropes, elbow drop, pops up and hits another, pops up and hits another. Another pin! 1…2… KICKOUT! He picks him up again and gets dropped with jawbreaker. Jason starts in on the kicks again but it seems he blew his load as Daniel sees the second kick coming, catches it and and hits a dragon screw leg whip. He goes for the Texas Cloverleaf again! This time he synches it in, Liontamer style. Jason writhes in pain… he starts going toward the ropes but… NO tap out!
The interviewer goes up to Daniel and says that was a struggle and he brushes past with no comment.
NEXT - It’s Joesph Woodbury & Steve Marshall vs. BriOmega
Brio and Drew enter, separately. Before the match begins Drew says that they are going to show those low lives Todd and Daniel how you make short work of inferior competition.
Joe enters next and waits on the ramp for Steve’s music to play. They rush the ring and the bell rings…
Joesph Woodbury & Steve Marshall vs. BriOmega & Drew Rosen
The faces clear the ring early with a flurry of offense that sends the heel to the back. We take a quick commercial break before the action really begins
We come back from break and the heels have taken over. They’re working over Steve and as we come back they hit a double team vertical suplex as Drew becomes the legal man. Drew goes for a pin but Joe is into break it up. The ref backs him out of the ring and Brio takes the chance to get in some double team stomping in their corner. When the ref sees Brio in the ring he pleads ignorance but Drew takes the oppurtunity to choke Steve with his knee up against the corner. He takes the entire 5 count once the ref sees and tags out to Brio.
More boots in the corner. Brio picks him up and drives him into the corner. He starts in with Nash style elbows and waits for him to stagger out of the corner and hoists him up for a belly to belly! 1…2… Joe breaks it up. AGAIN they start with the double teaming as Joe is drawn out of the ring. And The announcers start to wonder if Joe is doing this on purpose!
The crowd starts to rally behind Steve as Brio goes for a vertical suplex. Steve blocks it and hits one of his own. Can he make the tag? Nope, Drew wipes out Joe in the corner and gets the tag.
He picks Steve up, puts him in position for a piledriver, makes a pantomine for a tear going down his eye and mouths ‘Todd’ to the camera… and all the time taken allows Steve to get a backdrop! When Brio tries to knock Joe off the apron he ducks the forearm and counters with a kick over the ropes that sends Brio to the outside! Steve makes the tag and Joe is a house of fire! He starts lighting Drew up and he rolls out to talk strategy with Brio… Joe dives into them with a suicide dive! As they are starting to recover Steve stirs and goes up top - corkscrew plancha! Everyone is down!
Another commercial break! This one is going long!
As we come back Steve has Brio up for a vertical suplex and he hits it. Pin and a kickout later Steve tags in Joe. Steve hoists Brio up and they hit a Hart Attack. Drew makes the save. As the ref takes him away Joe encourages Steve to double team but Steve doesn’t want it that way. While they argue Brio recovers and hits Joe with a chop block. He drags him into the other corner and tags in Drew. Joe gets choked with Brio’s knee while Drew hits face washes with his boot. Joe doesn’t attempt to stop it, throwing up his hands.
Drew picks up Steve and delivers a forearm… and Steve comes back with another! They go back and forth until Drew cuts him off with a knee to the gut. He teases and delivers a jumping piledriver! Cover! 1…2..Steve kicks out. No help from Joe on that one but he managed the kick out. Tag into Brio and Drew hits a back breaker and tells brio to go high - double team knee drop backbreaker combo! 1…2… Joe saunters in to break it up at 2.
Brio then goes up top again - Diving Headbutt! 1…2…KICKOUT! He goes up for another! Steve moves! Can he get the tag? Will Joe even take it?! HE DOES! HE WILL!
Joe is a house of fire! Powerslam to Drew when he comes in. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Brio! He tags Steve back in and he gets an incredulous stare… but Steve goes up - Frog Splash! 1…2..Kickout. Steve tags back out, hard, chopping him in the chest. Joe gives him a glare to match and Brio sneaks up - schoolboy! He’s got the tights! 1…2…KICKOUT.
Steve and Brio face off and trade punches and Brio gets the worse of it, gets shot off the ropes and gets back dropped. He drops to his knees and begs. Steve considers… and hits execution kick! 1…2… Drew breaks it up. Steve pops into the corner and knocks Drew off… giving brio the chance to hit a lariat.
The announcers are horrified and apologetic to announce that they have to take another commercial break! The final one of the evening!
As we come back Joe is in a bad way - Brio tags out and puts Joe on his shoulders - Drew goes up - Dropkick Doomsday Device! 1…2… Steve makes an emphatic save! Drew puts Joe in a headlock and the crowd starts to go nuts wanting a come back! They’re chanting ‘Let’s Go Joe!’ ‘We Want Steve’ back and forth! TUNE IN NEXT WEEK (and throughout the week!) FOR ANSWERS!!
He fires up and shoots Drew off the ropes but when he ducks his head Drew drops him with a DDT! He tags into Brio who puts him in a key lock. The fans go nuts again! They are pounding and chanting and trying their darndest!
The announcers announce that the Battle Royal will have to delayed till next week by ruling of OWF President Ryan Tardiff! We’re staying with this one as long as it takes!
Joe fires up again to the delight of the crowd… He gets to his feet and springboards on to the top rope and drops flipping backward and breaking the hold with an armdrag. Brio scrambles to make a tag and… Drew comes in just in time to grab Joe’s foot… he’s reaching for the tag… Drew drags him back… enzuguri! Tag!

OWF Overdrive, Episode 1: November 2, 2010
OWF Overload
November 2nd Debut Edition
The show opens with it’s opening titles, set to Patti Smith’s My Generation and showing off the stars of the show, including The Todd & Daniel, Benel & BriOmega, Drew, Joe Woodbury, Mars Nova, Steve Marshall, Moonspider, Buddy Friend and Adam Montan posing.
We get a big fireworks display and cut to the ring with OWF President Ryan Tardiff:
“Ladies and Gentleman WELCOME TO THE OWF! And without further to do, for those of you this election day voting with your remote to welcome us into your home tonight, I’ve got a special treat as main event time comes early…”
He motions toward ring announcer …
“The following contest is schedule for one fall and is for the OWF TAG TEAM TITLES!” Big pop for that.
When Benel and Bri enter they give their titles over to Tardiff, as per the pre-match stipulation: he’s to present the titles to Todd and Daniel should they win.
The Todd and Daniel K. vs. Benel Germosen and BriOmega for the OWF Tag Team Titles
Benel and Todd start for their respective teams. Todd trash talks in Benel’s face and gets a right hand for his trouble and they trade blows for a bit and Benel gets the better of it. He gets some shine, hitting an arm drag on Todd, then a back drop before Todd tags in Daniel who gets much the same treatment. The heels confer in their corner and Benel knocks their heads together and schoolboys Daniel for a near fall.
Daniel rolls to the floor and Benel follows. Daniel starts backing up away from him and Todd tries a sneak attack and Benel hits him with a right hand, the distraction, however, gives Daniel time to sneak up on Benel and toss him into the steps, they double team him on the outside as Bri goes nuts at the referee, accidentally distracting him and allowing them more time outside to destroy Benel’s left arm.
They toss him back and a cover gets two. Daniel works the arm with all manner of arm bars and such and tags out to Todd who does much the same. They take turns working the arm, each time they tag out taking time to do a double team maneuver on it. Eventually after about 4-5 minutes of work on the arm Benel has the crowd in a fury getting behind him and he hit’s a desperation power slam on Todd. When he’s about to make the tag Daniel bounds in the ring and knocks Bri off the apron and goes to work back on the arm.
Benel makes another comeback a minute or two later, reversing and irish whip and then backdropping Daniel over the top. He starts a slow drag toward his corner when TODD then comes out of nowhere and knocks Bri off the apron. My goodness he’s never going to get a tag! Todd rushes, despite the ref’s command to get out of the ring, at Benel who hits another over the top back drop, sending Todd crashing into Daniel on the floor. Benel takes a deep breath and summons himself and bounces off the ropes into a suicide dive on both on the floor.
The ref counts them out: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... They start to stir… Todd hits an arm breaker on Benel at 8 as Daniel re-enters the ring. Bri is nowhere to be seen. 9, 10! A count-out win?!
Your winners, by count-out: The Todd and Daniel K.
Ryan goes into the ring to award the title back to the champions: the titles can’t change hands on a count-out but as the ring announcer starts to announce that the titles aren’t changing hands Todd grabs the mic.
“The deal was - we win, you give us the titles. WHO WON?! We did. We get the titles.”
Ryan looks pained as he looks at Benel and BriOmega, because Todd has him on semantics. He gets his own mic:
“As per the stipulations of the match, I… well I will in fact award the titles to Todd and Daniel” Big heat for that. The crowd clearly disagrees with the decision. Bri and especially Benel do as well, arguing and Ryan calls in security to get them out and tells them he’s sorry.
Todd and Daniel get in the ring and he goes to hand them the belts and Todd toss his hand in the air.
“Get on your knees and present them to us”
Ryan: “That was never par-”
Todd: “On. Your. Knees.”
Ryan takes on knee, sarcastically as the crowd jeers. He present them the title and they celebrate, and he grabs back his mic:
“BUT with that out of the way, you might not have those titles long because if you want to be champions you’ll have to defend them TONIGHT in a rematch and this time: no DQ, no count-outs.”
Todd and Daniel throw a fit as we go to our first commercial break.
We return to an interview with Drew Rosen where he vows to become the first ever OWF Heavyweight champion and run through Scotland Green tonight.
We then cut to the announcers, who discuss the opening segment and hype the main event before announcing that we're about to see the first match in the 16 man Tournament to crown the first OWF Heavyweight Champion.
The OWF World Heavyweight Title is shown in a glass case at ringside as Buddy Friend's music starts and he pops out on the stage...
Round One Match, OWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament:
Buddy Friend vs. MoonSpider
It starts off a comedy match extraordanaire as Buddy delivers a headbutt and Moonspider responds with a headbutt of his own and soon they are trading headbutts, each getting dizzier and dizzier as it goes, finally Buddy is knocked off his feet by a final headbutt by Moonspider... only for him to Flair Flop... headbutting Buddy in the groin.
They're both down and Moonspider crawls over for a pin - only 2. He sets up for a Myopia Shinning Wizard but Buddy ducks it, low blow! He starts to get out brass knuckles but the ref sees him and questions him and he tosses them away and goes to work on Moonspider. A knee drop gets two. A vertical suplex gets the same.
He sets him up on the top rope for a superplex but Moonspider pushes him off. He goes for a shooting star press... and Buddy moves out of the way. They're both down when...
A mysterious masked stranger hits the ring! He hits a variety of suplexes on them both for a double disqualification! He makes a throat slitting gesture and then as security runs in he escapes through the crowd.
What was that?!
When we come back from commerical we have a segment with Benel and BriOmega. Benel says he's not sure he's in condition for an immediate rematch - his arm is pretty messed up. But he says he'll do whatever needs to be done to get his title back.
Talk turns to the title tournament and their match against one another next week but BriOmega brushes it off and says they are only worrying about tonight and turns to Benel, tells him that it's all going to work out just fine, gives him a playful smack to the injured shoulder and walks off, with Benel following a bit puzzled behind him.
It's announced that next is our 2nd Title Tournament match!
Round One Match, OWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament:
Drew Rosen vs. Scotland Green
Drew hits a series of palm strikes, a spinning back fist, tosses him into the corner, facewash kicks, whips him across the ring: avalanche! T-Bone suplex! We call that 'Commend Thy Spirit' We call this an unadulterated squash as it gets the 3.
Drew then grabs the mic and says that he's going to run through everyone on the roster like that. He starts on a long rant about the title when he's interrupted by Mars Nova who says that HE will be leaving with the title and he's going to be the people's champion and we're going to see what he can do next week. They get in each other's faces and Ryan's music hits and he says that Mars better save his strength because he's up next in a six man tag, teaming with Roger and Joe AiR vs. Jason California, Dr. Blasphemy and Bervda! Drew says he'll stick around to take stock of his challengers.
Mars Nova, Roger and Joe Air vs. Jason California, Dr. Blasphemy and Berva
It's an all action six man tag, with Joe and Berva trading high spots early. We get a series of dives to the outside early on: Roger hits a pescado onto Blasphemy, Jason follows off the top onto them both and then Nova hits a cannonball dive off the the apron to them all.
When it shakes out the legal men in the ring are Roger and Blasphemy and the heel team (how do you know it's the heel team? One of them is named DR. BLASPHEMY!) takes turns getting heat on him.
Eventually Roger makes the hot tag to Nova who knocks Jason off the apron, hits Berva with the Nova Flash pounce and then hits Blasphemy with a spinning back elbow and follows it up with the torture rack back breaker for the pin.
Drew sarcastically claps at ringside and nods his head and we cut to break.
We return with an interview with Daniel K. and The Todd. Are they OK with getting the title like that?
That is besides the point Todd says - it is ridiculous that they would have to have a rematch tonight. It's preposterous and he declares that as far as he's concerned he should not have to do it and he doesn't want to. Daniel tells him they'll win anyway and Todd says damn right they will, because he's THE TODD DAMMIT and he'll win a 100 matches if he has to. Oh, and by the way, he says, good luck next week in your title tournament match. Daniel cautiously wishes him the same. Tension perhaps?
The announcers wonder if both of our main event teams are on the same page. They also wonder about the masked man and then tease the next match: another match in the title tournament featuring Steve Marshall!
Round One Match, OWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament:
Steve Marshall vs. Human Target

They trade kicks to start and Steve gets the better part of it... till Human Target uses a thumb to the eye! He takes over briefly but Steve gets a quick comeback, back drop, sliding lariat! He goes up top: frog splash! Target kicks out and he hoists him up for the Raigeki Thuderbolt Driver but Target slips out into a dragon sleeper.
Steve struggles in the move but makes it to the ropes. Target puts him on the top for a superplex... he gets shoved off and Steve tries a crossbody off the top... but Target rolls through! He's got the tights! 1... 2...KICKOUT! Target questions the ref and walks into a big overhead kick- Raigeki! 1-2-3!
Post-match Steve is interviewed and says this first round is just a job interview - they want to see if you're on the World Title level and he thinks he just proved he was. He says Mars better get in line to get a piece of Drew as well, because he's gunning for him too... and anyone else who gets in the way of him becoming the first OWF Champion.

The announcers hype our final OWF Title Tournament match and the main event. And then we're off to the ring! No time to waste!
Round One Match, OWF World Heavyweight Title Tournament:
Adam Montan vs. Joe Woodbury
Adam laughs at Joe, the smaller man in plain black tights and when Joe charges Adam smacks him away, with just sheer weight. But Joe gets up and tries again - again batted away... again - this time it's a jumping forearm and it connect and hits a succession of them, shaking the big man! Can he get him off his feet?! He winds up for one more and... BLACK HOLE SLAM by Montan. 1-2-KICKOUT!
He is livid and bounces off the ropes: Splash! 1-2-KICKOUT! He hooks him up for a chokeslam and on the way up Joe hooks in a guillotine choke! He gets him down to his knees and then starts reigning in knee strikes! Montan picks him up and toss him off and he bounces back with another flying forearm - AND THE BIG MAN GOES DOWN! He gets a cover and gets tossed off at 1.
As the big man is still down he starts firing off kicks until he swats him away... he bounces back up and charges into a HUGE STO and grabs an arm triangle! Reservation Strangulation! It's locked in the middle of the ring... Montan TAPS!
Intense short match but Joe is your winner! The announcers remark it an upset, if just based on sheer physique. The post-match interviewer is shooed away by Joe and when the interviewer approaches Montan he gets chokeslamed for his trouble.
One more commercial and it's time for our main event!

One more commercial and it's time for our main event!
We cut to the ring announcer again, proclaiming that his is tonight's MAIN EVENT!
We then cut to the back, where BriOmega is down and presumably hurt! Refs are calling for help but Bri waves them off! What is Benel going to do!
The Todd and Daniel K. vs. Benel Germosen and BriOmega for the OWF Tag Team Titles in a No DQ, No Count-out match
Benel comes down to the ring downtrodden. The announcer wonder whether Todd and Daniel beat up BriOmega? Maybe it was the masked man they wonder. Ryan comes out and tells Benel he doesn't have to do this alone - he has a partner for him! Benel says NO! BriOmega is his partner and he'll do this alone if he has to. He goes to roll in the ring with the heels, shakes his head and goes underneath the ring and gets a kendo stick!
Benel goes to town on the heels and clears the ring as we go to commercial!

When we come back from break we see the heels working on Benel's arm! They have it wrapped in a steel chair, with Daniel having his foot on it and Todd posed to come off the top and Pillman-ize it!
Several babyfaces hit the ring to tell them not to do it and then the heels attack and suddenly it's bedlam! People start hitting the ring! The masked man hits the ring and clears it and Benel makes his way to his feet as the masked man runs away again and Daniel rolls back in the ring and they trade blows!
Benel hits him with a Death Valley Driver on a chair and goes for a pin and it's broken up by Todd! Todd hits a fireman carry roll for two. He hoists Benel up as if for a Hart Attack and Daniel stirs and goes to the top... but Benel knees himself free, pops off the the top, crotching Daniel and hits a tornado DDT! It gets 2! Daniel charges and they do a double clotheline spot!
BRIOMEGA RETURNS FROM THE BACK! He runs into the ring and makes the cover on Daniel! He kicks out. Bri shrugs. He doesn't even seem hurt. He grabs a chair... and hits Benel several times in the arm with it!? And then puts his arm back Pillmanized and stomps it several times. He then invites Daniel to make the pin, which he does. Bri nods his head and rolls out of the ring with a shit eating smile.
Todd and Daniel celebrate their win as we go off the air for week one.
NEXT WEEK! BENEL VS. BRIOMEGA! Can Benel even compete?! WHY BRIOMEGA WHY?!
